Pamphlet For Blood Donation

From a letter from Engels to Marx

"Dear Mohr,

[...] That's a very curious> urning *>, whom you have sent me. Those are extremely unnatural revelations. The pederast ** begin to count and find that they form a power in the saat [...]> Guerre aux cons, paix aux trous-de-cul < wird es jetzt heißen.

* An "invert" in Karl Heinrich Ulrichs theory on homosexuality of the man (out mid-nineteenth century), to which manifests itself Engels in the top quote, a same-sex desiring men

** pederasty was in forensic discourse middle of the nineteenth century as a term for anal intercourse used between men

review the musical decade (II): Oasis Dig Out Your Soul (2008)

The album reaches its peak after 27 minutes. In 'Falling Down' Noel sings "Catch the wheel that breaks the 'and his melancholy" Butterfly "goes into the slide guitar. The Oasis-feeling one has on every album on first hearing is, by no later than now. Admittedly, this feeling is more often on some boards, in some rare one. Even the last 2 albums from Oasis were very worth listening to and you have 'Dig Out Your Soul' by one, we know that 'Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants' 2000 has always been ahead (can you write that in the 60s-addicted Oasis at all? ).
The album starts with an unusual stomping beat that will come up again and again. And Liam sings with him for so characteristic elongated vowels. The line "Someone tell me I'm dreaming" describes the opening track 'Bag It Up' the atmosphere of the album very fitting. It will be a spooky, psychedelic trip.
'The Turning' is already on the other hand much darker and therefore impressed with one, for Oasis ratios, very mystical text. The very mixed drums in the foreground is first accompanied only by piano and gentle vocals. The chorus is then used to exciting, but it dawns on even the certainty that this is not a typical Oasis album.
Noel sings for the first time on 'Waiting For The Rapture' and proves once with ARRANGEMENT-art and powerful vocals that has 'The Importance Of Being Idle' ushered in by the previous album, a new phase of his songwriting.
Man begins to search for used to, and make impressions and characteristics of the 'Oasis'. The
always represented Rocker's' Is not Got Nothin'', a play about the bar brawl in Munich in 2002, but the anthem, which was previously represented on any long-player is missing! This album is not very radio-ready, what is meant as a compliment and 'The Shock Of The Lightning "is also the only song, the hit status as single features. But has it all. Fast, unlimited, like dancing on a wave in the ocean, hypnotic vocals and a drum solo.
It sounds from all sorts of feedback and Liam's tearjerker "I'm Outta Time ', the only real ballad washing including John Lennon and a lot Lalalalas sample sets, one with a piano. Pretty good. 'Born On A Different Cloud 'was better. 'Song Bird' also. When Yoko personally, he has got the permission to be allowed to use John Lennon sample at the end of the song.
Singing since Liam or Noel on '(Get Off Your) High Horse Lady'? The vocal distortion caused confusion until then, thanks to Noel's voice far greater latitude everything is clear. Actually the song was not on the album, is already 6 years old (and therefore also a dig at his ex-wife Meg), but Liam did not happen the other 2 songs that were supposed to appear, at Abbey Road Studio einzusingen. Only 4 lines and 3 chords and that's a real time medium quality hedgehog. Somehow all the songs into each other move, which fuels the suspicion of a concept album. Because of the steps in the gravel grows with 'Do You Know What I will incorporate both Mean'-noise / sounds' Falling Down'. This song is simply the climax of everything and everyone. Allegedly (05/10/2008) The third single for 'I'm Outta Time' and although it's so great, can not be drawn comparison with the XXL-popular song 'Do not Look Back In Anger', is too different from the songwriting Noel Gallagher after 13 years.
Gem Archer bought for 12.50 pounds a "fake Sitar" with which he and Noel "in the Beatles Echo Chamber" single lock and they played for hours. Only have they play just a plan by the sitar, but still is on 'To Be There Where's Life "(by Gem) no guitar, but under the pounding beat (you may excited about the live performance) with 1000 keyboard, this toy by George Harrison that had formerly tried to Sgt Pepper's 'Within You, Without You' is a cultural revolution. Anyway it is all totally 60s on 'Dig Out Your Soul'. Just as on 'Revolver' album cover and booklet are a successful wealth of collagen and also the portraits of the band members are wonderfully blurred liquid light à la Pink Floyd.
Andy's' The Nature Of Reality 'rises from the booming' Is not Got Nothing 'with the idea of the epic Doors' Celebration Of The Lizard', mixed with a shameless borrowings from 'Helter Skelter'. Then the song swirls around royally with doubled vocals and two drum sets in the projected LSD madness.
'Spoldier On' seems to be just sprung this spirit, giving, with its endless Hall and the accompanying mix of bass and synths that Liam's other Lalalalalalas the rich variety and density to this otherwise rather mediocre, Outro (Liam's third song) give the necessary respectability.
'Dig Out Your Soul' is a bold psychedelic trip that would be difficult to play live.
We must continue to be excited. That's the great thing about Oasis.
Still the biggest thing in Rock 'n Roll.

review the musical decade (I): The Libertines (2004)

Where to start? What was not written 100 times already? There are 13 songs about the end of love and / or friendship. For a few weeks The Libertines were the ex-Clash The -man Mick Jones in the studio "locked up" , with a few Gorillaz at the door to Doherty s access to the Dealer . deny They played their second ( official ) and last album, the follow up to "Up The Bracket " on. An anecdote says that this multi- Plastic bags filled with Booze on the handlebars of his Vespa, the stairs had gone up to the recording room. But not only Doherty, who previously was in the apartment of Carl Barat collapsed and strangely enough, not want to go as a DVD player and a guitar had was the bad guy. Even this very Carl that taught him about the turn of the century still play the guitar, as the young Pete still hired by Oasis albums to buy and poems and articles for the fanzine of Queen Park Rangers wrote, "was under the influence "of Coxxxxe. But then Kate Moss ( What You're Gonna Do Katie? ) ...
The result was rough, unpolished post-punk music that would shape the sound further decade. Rude, desolate, full of love, death, despair, booze / drugs and devotion. Rock was back. Rock 'n Roll, Guerilliakonzerte, performances in kebab stands, Pups ( Busking For Beer ), or simply in the homes of fans, made the announcement a few hours before dissolving at the official website the band until the police action. At some point crossed Pete no longer went on without him and the band on tour. In defiance he formed a band, ironically called "The Libertines ", then the Babyshambles (a word created from the Libertines fantasy world " Arcadia," in which retired the band, so even Pete's Alter-Ego " Billy Bilo ") was. Carlos played with Gary , and John Doherty s substitute (the later Dirty Pretty Things -member) Didz the remaining concerts. He dissolved THE LIBERTINES on 31/12/2004. The perfect band .
