Review-The Musical decade (X): 2009
was supposed to be here, Peter Doherty "Shotter's Nation" were discussed. But who stoned the Germany sings makes itself impossible. Since it does not matter that the Libertines on their UK tours often had a stand by the "Anti-Nazi League" in her entourage.
And what else would matter in 2009?
Gossip?
Element Of Crime?
Depeche Mode?
no idea.

How Long Do Cigars Last In The Box
Review-The Musical decade (IX): Arctic Monkeys-Whatever People Say I Am complacent, That's What I'm Not
The Arctic Monkeys were not the first, but by then the largest Internet Sensation of the decade. No record deal, no tour, only Myspace & Co was enough to break the record of Oasis in 1994 when the debut was published in early 2006: the earliest acquired gold record in the UK. The dry rock 'n roll sound that laid open to the influences of the Sex Pistols to the Libertines, brought, all of Europe in ecstasy. Although the two albums are rather lame ducks, the young Englishman now play at every major festival in the evening program about the headliners and fill not only in Germany 5000-halls. The Monkeys
hardly give interviews, is about her private life (except Sauftouren) not much is known (thankfully) and so appear they follow through unmolested by record companies and labels their thing. can
Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not is a wild spectacle in which the body is still not hold. The pieces are varied, healthy, but always remain true to the Mokeys style. Whether the band will remain relevant in the future is questionable, but the first album has its place in music history.

Dune2000 Fix Widescreen Problem
Trial?
If you want to order a trial subscription to the SZ as a private individual can, in the indication of personal data under "Title" choose a third option. In addition to "Mr." and "woman" is also the possibility of "neutral" state. The choice of words "Neutral" may be more unusual than "unfortunate" but the existence of a third Option in the largest-circulation newspaper subscription, which is published daily in Germany, is remarkable, however (neither positive nor negative sense).
dichotomies destroy!

Happy 24th Anniversary In Japanese
decade (VII): Tocotronic (2002) Review-The Musical
an album as a complex attack on the beginning of the millennium rapidly emerging, superindividualisierte consumption consumer consumer society. The opener beitet once the appropriate associations with the consumption of pressure and its wake, powerlessness and the view in the window. Where's the demo version was a straightforward rocker yet, the / the listener is now welcomed by winged keyboards.
Everything is in flames takes out the speed with which This Boy is Tocotronic begins the plate and designs quoted an alternative image of the modern apocalypse behind the classic metaphor the song title.
It follows here is the proof a tempo change, including successful vocal effects. It is an ode to subcultures and denouncing the hunt for the latest consumer product ("the introduction of certain foreign Arts is the price").
on track 4's melancholy Hi Freaks it finally speaks out directly: "everything must be more abundant, we are never alone": the compensation of emotional deficits through consumption, the anonymous coldness of the city and its emerging hedonistic party culture ( "The money is ready, you have time today?" No, me neither. ") but also the security it offers and the need for it. On KOOK Tocotronic 1999 indicated to have the change of style away from the uncontrolled guitar noise, through to multi-layered synth arrangements. In Hi Freaks offers the band (for their circumstances) complex formulated and arranged political confrontations with the Germany, with which they can start so little. A squiggly hate speech, as the home track for the home But living here, no thanks! , which can be heard on the following album.
Guide me gently then dives into the world at first hand the narcotic effect of alcohol, drugs and goods consumption. At the end of the song then (absichtlich!?) wrong Italian.
A drowsy dawn rises from 'the song, who wrote on their own. He just came to us. " Free Hospital satisfied over 90% of the disabled radio track with the A-minor chord. It's drug trip, a situation in rehab, psychiatric against the depression of Grossssssssstadt? All possible interpretations, perhaps even nonsense.
cloud of ignorance takes again the inscrutable construct "Germany", with its regimented masses in the pedestrian zones. On
Update on the Trickster take Arne, Dirk and Jan then finally Farewell to the old Tocotronic 90s. Lotzow unmasking of trickster and presents himself the way from the clear announcements, complaints, and open despair that the texts of the 90 years that dominated the way to the momentous texts of the new millennium. "One thing is certain, 1:1 is now over."
All in all, they take but a bit too important and too serious and the androcentric of the album is also exaggerated. Still, very respectable, the audience can look forward to smoke and mirrors , January 2010.
