The workshop of 5 - 11 September was marked by enthusiastic participants and excited about painting techniques and the discourse around it. Most had little or no experience regarding the painting with oil, but could by the end of the seminar consistently demonstrate outstanding work. In late summer-Lichem marvelous weather, beautiful surroundings and relaxed atmosphere was concentrated work.
As the workshop with 7 course units of 6 hours, was generous, could still life with tempera underpainting, white heightening and subsequent oil glazes are made without time pressure. Conclusion: It was a wonderful workshop with great people.
Too bad it was and is no more. But after the workshop before the workshop.
