Aside from notorious lack of funds, 2010 was a great year for me. I wrote my first novel, it found an agency that cares now about to bring it to the publisher. And even if it should move anyone, it was a major hurdle for me, I have mastered. I wrote it over, whatever may look like the result.
I am currently writing my second manuscript and was close to the magic 100-page mark. And except for a short trailer, I have now been overcome morning runs really well. The story unfolds almost by itself, the characters go their way.
I have long tried to do everything right, keep to any rules. Meanwhile, I think it is important to know the rules, thus confront what one does, but at some point you have to fold up the guide and put away. There is no right or wrong way, there is only one's own way, and I hope that I will find.
But all this would have I did not make it if I had not had really good old and new friends who have stood by my side and hopefully will do so because I am truly a fucking pain in the neck. * G
I look forward to the coming year and am confident that it always goes uphill, and I also wish all my friends, either here or in RL at the other end of the line. Proximity has nothing to do with distance.
